Just throwing this into the mix, could there be a connection between the quality of electricity during the summer months when the wind turbines are virtually still, as compared to winter? Apparently, 25% of our bill amounts are for 'renewables', throughout the year... so what do they do when the wind doesn't blow, methinks? Just chuck in some dirty stuff?
The dirty stuff comes from a wide variety of sources - pretty much anything plugged in can contribute, especially if poorly designed. Sources include fluorescent and LED lighting, most digital gear, PCs, TVs, wall chargers, electric motors, solar panel inverters, EV chargers, dodgy circuit breakers, knackered wiring, national grid supply issues, smart meters, and cell towers. Then there are natural sources such as lightning strikes, and weather impacting on power lines. Ironically, both solar and wind farms contribute to an unclean environment in this manner!
Air consitioners would become more active after the sun comes up and less so when the sun goes down. They turn on and off frequently to maintain a setpoint and work harder in the heat of the day and direct sun. Just a thought, maybe there is ToD relation related ro when the sun starts (and stops) impinging on a house.

Of course, I should add, I haven't a clue about how electricity actually works... but then, not many do.
